I am a teenage barrel racer from Vero Beach, Florida. Growing up with horses from the age of 8, I quickly discovered a passion for the adrenaline pumping sport of rodeo. On weekends I travel around the State of Florida with close family friends, to run a clover leaf pattern against the clock, working hard to earn a spot at the top. My hopes are to make it into the Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA). Currently I compete in the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) as well as local Florida shows and rodeos. My partner is a 7 year old American quarter horse named Pistol. In this past year I feel we are making strides of a great team. I believe with continued hard work, the future is looking good.
" I've always been drawn to the environment and sport of rodeo because of how close everyone is, like one big family. There's so much sportsmanship, support, and patriotism."
(Fishing / Hunting)
Everyone's love for the outdoors starts at a young age and I'm no different. My father put a fishing pole in my hand at age 3, a bow at age 6, and a 22/410 over and under at 9. My home is Pasco County, Florida where I've grown up fishing for reds, trout, and snook in the back waters and chasing wild hog in the swamps. Only in the past few years have I ventured offshore for grouper, cobia, and amber jack. It's more then just an addiction, it's a way of life for me.
